Configuring Your DAHUA Camera For Recording
Before you can configure your DAHUA Camera for recording, you need to set up motion detection. You do this by setting the motion detection options and the region. These settings must be tested carefully to ensure that they work properly. Save the settings and copy them to all channels. Now, you can set up motion recording and image / video recording. Select the continuous video recording option from the recording tab.
TiOC

Dual illumination technology is used to give the best solution possible for users. The camera uses infrared illumination for its default lighting and switches to white light illumination when certain events occur. The camera can also be set to operate exclusively on white light or IR light.
Configuration options
There are many configuration options available for the DAHUA Camera that affect its recording quality. You can adjust the bit rate, frame rate, and resolution depending on your needs. High-resolution cameras, for example, require a higher bitrate than low-resolution ones. You can also configure the recording mode and select the type of recording.
You can set the recording schedule to record at preset intervals or continuously. iDMSS/gDMSS
Users can access their Dahua Camera systems remotely via the iDMSS/gDMSS app from either an iPhone or Android. It offers features like two-way communication, PTZ control and AI. Users are advised to only download the app for the compatible platform with their camera.
Users can edit their camera settings with the iDMSS/gDMSS Dahua Camera App. To do this, users must add the device to the app. Next, users should tap on the three dots icon near the device. Next, select the channel and save the changes.
IP address
The IP address of a DAHUA camera can be found in a number of ways. You can access it through your web browser or with the help of Configtool. The IP address can also be found in the TCP/IP menu of the camera, which is available under Setup>Network>TCP/IP. You will find a field called Mode on the TCP/IP menu. This is where you can change your IP address from DHCP or static.
You can access the user interface of your camera using a static IP if you have one. However, if you are not sure of its IP address, it is recommended to use the automatic IP settings. It may take up to 2 minutes for the IP settings process. After the settings have been completed, click the "refresh" button at the top to view the current status of your camera. You can also log in to the camera by clicking the "e" icon. To do this, you should enter your username and password.
